Tinabunan Elementary School of Imus City, the Regional Outstanding Gulayan sa Paaralan Program Implementer has helped the community during ECQ by promoting food security and growing their own food through distribution of vegetable seeds from its garden. This is the objective of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program – to promote food security in schools and in the community.

Social distancing, wearing of mask, handwashing and LGU quarantine protocols were strictly observed during the distribution of seeds. With the Technical Assistance from the International Institute for Rural Reconstruction (IIRR), Principal Jess Bergado, and EPS EPP/TLE Rolando Talon Jr managed to distribute the seeds safely. (Written by Neil B.
