The Department of Education (DepEd) Region IV-A actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, reinforcing its commitment to disaster preparedness and workplace safety.
A total of 155 regional office personnel and clients took part in the activity, demonstrating coordinated response and readiness in the event of an earthquake. The drill highlighted the effective implementation of the Incident Command System (ICS) through the Incident Management Team, ensuring organized and efficient emergency response procedures.
The activity concluded with the terminal report of the Incident Commander, followed by a guidance from Regional Director Carlito D. Rocafort, who emphasized key safety considerations after the drill.
