More than 180 Division Office and school-based frontliners and backliners have already benefitted from DepEd Cavite’s Project Compassion: Suporta sa mga Katropa since its launching on the last week of April.
As of May 13, Project Compassion was able to raise P658,232 from 96 donors received through cash transfer and remittance services and other methods allowed through the assistance of selected Division and District office key personnel.
A total of 189 utility, security, and frontline workers (38 Division Office-based, 151 school-based) received P2,000 each during the first waves of cash assistance distribution led by ASDS Ivan Brian Inductivo, Division Supply Officer Edward Joevan Romen, Division Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Coordinator Jesselle Mark Jay Reyes, and Administrative Aide Glen Roduta of the DepEd Cavite COVID-19 Task Force.
Schools Division Superintendent Rommel Bautista expressed his gratitude to all of DepEd Cavite’s learning leaders and other stakeholders for their usual support to the Division’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
