As CALABARZON and other selected areas remain under extended enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), Schools Division Office (SDO) Rizal Province launched its Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) to ensure the continuous delivery of critical services to its clienteles.

Providing operational guidelines, work processes, essential services, and other work-related functions and responsibilities, the PSCP outlines the limited set of functions of SDO Rizal’s frontline services that must be continued throughout the ECQ period.

According to the released PSC Plan of SDO Rizal, continuity strategies include (a) Institutionalizing PSCP to allow SDO Rizal to effectively deliver their services without any or with minimal stoppage or hindrance in its key operations; (b) Identify, develop, acquire and document procedures, and guidelines that will ensure the continuity of frontline services; (c) Establish electronic signature in replacement of handwritten signatures of DepEd Division of Rizal’s officials and employees;  (d) Adopt DepEd Commons to continuously provide education to Rizal learners; (e) Establishment of virtual workplace; (f) Establishment of google classroom; and (g) Online work flow process.

“We are mandated to provide basic and educational services for the Rizaleño learners. During this period, online classes and other flexible learning options will be pushed through so that education will be continuously served to learners,” said Schools Division Superintendent Cherrylou D. Repia.

Through the mission essential functions, Work from Home (WFH) was made possible by setting up platforms to support teleworking, using official websites, emails and other means, open line communication for employee emergency planning, as well as protecting vital records and files including electronic documents/records.
