Anchored on competency-based learning and development paradigm of Learning and Development, Schools Division Office of Tayabas City capacitated select teaching and non-teaching personnel on Learning and Development System.                   

The activity was made possible through the support of Schools Division Superintendent Aniano M. Ogayon and Assistant SDS Maylani Galicia. Chief Edwin R. Rodriguez of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) also supported the SGOD personnel in the planning and conduct of the capacity-building.

“I hope you optimize your gains from the writeshop,” said ASDS Galicia in her inspirational message. She added, “Being part of the pool of writers is a chance to make an impact in the organization.”

L & D Systems and Sub-systems and its standards and principles that govern the L & D were discussed. The importance of quality assurance, technical assistance, monitoring and evaluation, before, during and after training, such as SLACs, was emphasized. Likewise, monitoring tools were introduced.

The L & D pool of writers were led  in crafting training curriculum, content matrix, session learning episodes, and slide decks. The outputs are to be used in the conduct of School Learning Action Cells (SLACs).

Fideliza V. Luces, Luzviminda E. Saludares, OIC-CID Chief Sancho Calatrava, Louie Fulledo, Sherwin Quesea, Corazon Borbon and Joan Kathleen Brizuela facilitated the sessions. EPSs Georgia Talabong, Mildred Galleno, Christian Bables, Joseph Jay Aureada, Richelle Quintero and Generoza Zubieta joined the facilitators as technical assistance providers in the polishing and refining of the crafted learning resource package.
