DepEd Cavite synergized four major events in the first joint research conference which showcased research outputs and projects and provided a forum to benchmark best practices, October 25-26.
More than 500 researchers, including 300 oral and poster presenters and 208 research outputs, “coalesced” for the SALIKSURI: 3rd Basic Education Research Conference, 2nd School-to-School Partnership (SBM-SSP-555) Culminating Event, 1st Continuous Improvement Project (CIP) Symposium, and 1st Gender and Development (GAD) Research Conference.
“Coalescence is the union of people, the synergy of mind to come together to achieve a common end,” Ivan Brian Inductivo, OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent and overall chairperson of the joint research conference, explained.
Simultaneously, Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Elpidia Bergado served as session manager for the SALIKSURI while Reniel Patrick Sapinoso Tejidor, Division planning officer, and Elizabeth Garcia, public schools division supervisor, served as chairpersons for the CIP symposium.
Eduarda Zapanta, education program supervisor in Mathematics, and Allain Alvarez, senior education program specialist for Monitoring and Evaluation, facilitated the SSP-SBM culminating event while Emily Quintos led the GAD research conference.
Diosdado San Antonio, DepEd CALABARZON regional director, shared and celebrated with DepEd Cavite the harvest of critical and insightful researches. (Rey Ann M. Maramag, PDO I/ DIO)
