Out of 766 projects from 59 countries, DepEd Cavite’s GARDUINO and DepEd Bacoor’s FLORA grabbed two major awards in the 2017 International Sustainable World Engineering, Energy, Environment Project (ISWEEP) Olympiad, May 3-8, at Houston, Texas.

Eadrian Basila, Ranjon Jonas, and Jurie Mae Castronuevo’s GARDUINO: Values Transformation through Garbage Segregator Robot took home a bronze medal for the Engineering category while Edgardo Socrates Jr.’s FLORA: An Environmental Disasters Preventive Device grabbed a silver medal for Environment category.
