Cavite Province plays host to 15 other divisions as Southern Tagalog CALABARZON Athletic Association (STCAA) meet kicks off on Feb. 17 and commences on Feb. 23. Themed “Team CALABARZON: Leads in Promoting Peace through Sports,” Cavite Province, led by Dr. Yolanda V. Carpina, Schools Division Super-intendent and assisted by Dr. Rodolfo V. Cruz, MSEP Supervisor, ex-presses its humble wel-come to its fellow divi-sions. The host has pro-vided schools accessible to playing venues as the billeting quarters of the 16 competing divisions. It can be recalled that from 15 divisions, Calabarzon has a newly-born division, the Divi-sion of Tayabas City. Most of the games will be played in Cavite State University—Indang while some are in Gen. Trias Sports Complex, Blumen Resort and oth-ers. “We believe that sports is an avenue for friendship, camaraderie and peace among all of us in Calabarzon. Have a nice stay in Cavite, the cradle of heroes,” said Dr. Carpina.
