San Pablo City National High School (SPCNHS) has been selected as an official partner of BoardWalk Business Ventures Inc. for its annual gift giving program, an initiative made possible by Luningning Calalo Cacayan, BoardWalk’s Operation Head and a former alumnus.

Present also in the event were Ludy N. Pasagui, Schools Division Superintendent; Rhea A. Dacara, Public School District Supervisor – Junior High School Cluster I; Venus E. Florentino, Senior Education Program Specialist – Mobilization; and school’s admin and teachers.

SPCNHS received more than 600 pair of shoes and school bags to be given to the well-deserving students. Cacayan’s mission is to empower public school students to overcome personal crisis and be inspired to take on the challenges to be successful in the future.

“I hope that 10-15 years from now, you will come back to your Alma Mater and do what I am doing right now.  Be inspired and be successful in the future,” said Cacayan.

Principal Editha L. Fule added, “Daily needs such as shoes and bags are items that are overlooked when putting food on the table.  Through this program, we hope to alleviate some of the stress parents feel to meet their children’s footwear and school needs.”

This was the first partnership program between SPCNHS and BoardWalk that culminated with the awarding of more than half a million worth of donations witnessed by student recipients and their parents. (John Roldan C. Dimaano, Science Coordinator – SPCNHS, Science Coordinator, SPCNHS)
