To capacitate and empower educators in integrating technology in teaching, 40 teachers from different elementary and secondary schools from Tayabas City attended the Teaching with Technology Seminar at Luis Palad Integrated High School last May 30.

Initiated by the ICT Unit, the program had Kendrick C. Cabriga, Information Technology Officer I in the Division of Tayabas City, as the speaker.

The activity focused on the basic and various uses of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office and the integration of Microsoft Education Applications on teaching.

Despite the challenges, this was made possible through the support of Microsoft Education Program and Schools Division Superintendent of Tayabas City, Dr. Catherine P. Talavera.

“When I saw them doing all the activities and when they submitted their outputs, I could say that they learned and I was very glad that all the hardships were triumphed,” Cabriga expressed.

He also added, “I had a great time doing this training. I hope I can teach more teachers and share what I learned to them.”  (Jojo Oabel, LPNHS)
