SDO Lucena through the Division Monitoring and Evaluation Team (DMET) holds first quarter of Division Monitoring and Evaluation Adjustment (DMEA) at Lucena City Teachers and Employees Conference Center on March 13.
54 personnel from the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent with the Administrative Officer, Legal, Supply, Accounting, Budget, Records, ICT, Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) composed of Education Program Supervisors, District Supervisors, Specialists, Librarian and Project Development Officer, and School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) personnel attended the said event.
The activity aimed to discuss the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) report on school tasks/ activities/ programs/ projects, to present and analyze the schools Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in determining the division effectiveness. Based on collective appreciation of the situation, experiences and issues raised will be subject for areas for improvement, set directions and targets to respond on the needs of the schools and learners.
Schools Division Superintendent Aniano M. Ogayon emphasized to look for possible solutions to address concerns on frustration level of the learners in reading comprehension. “We need to look into what is going on,” he added.
Dr. Joepi F. Falqueza oriented the participants with regard on their functions and responsibilities as DMET. He discussed the duties and responsibilities of DMET Chair, Co-chair, and members. Likewise, SGOD Chief, Dr. Epifania F. Carandang continued the discussions in filling-in the template for DMEA activity completion report regarding the participants’ targets and accomplishments on physical and financial status as well as the common issues and gaps.
