CIP rolls out in Cavite
Sixty (60) participants from the four strategic units of the Department of Education- Division of Cavite participated in the Continuous Improvement Program Division Roll-Out held at Tanza Oasis Hotel and Resort, Brgy. Capipisa, Tanza, Cavite, February 1-3, 2017.
Funded through the Human Resource and Development Fund of the SGOD-HRD Unit, the roll-out aimed at articulating the basic understanding of the participants about CIP, explaining the CI Methodology and its steps, and demonstrating CI application at the school level with the guidance of the coach.
Each stage of the CI Methodology, which is also tied up with the School Improvement Planning (SIP), was managed by Lorena L. Arca, CI Master Coach (Stage 1 Assess); Theresa C. Bautista, CI Master Trainer (Stage 2 Analyze; and Marlene P. Panganiban, CI Master Trainer (Stage 3 Act).
CIP Teams from the North Unit were from Binakayan National High School (Kawit), Noveleta Elementary School, and Rosario Elementary School. From the East Unit, the CIP Teams were from Bulihan National High School (Silang), Bancal Elementary School (Carmona), and San Gabriel II Elementary School (GMA). South Unit CIP Team included representatives from Alfonso National High School, Indang East Elementary School, and Amadeo Elementary School while the CIP Team from West Unit were from Amaya School of Home Industries (Tanza), Maragondon Elementary School, and Ternate Elementary School.
In her inspirational message, SDS Cherrylou D. de Mesa, stressed the importance of continuous improvement in the context of DepEd Cavite in order to raise the bar in all its performance indicators. She appealed to the CIP Teams to become more vigilant in accomplishing their tasks, duties, and responsibilities and to continuously nurture the culture of “malasakit para sa Batang Caviteño.” (Jonathan S.
