The training was conducted to create an effective environment, embracing technology in the teaching-learning process.

Dr. Ogayon ignited the minds of the school ICT coordinators to have a mind set for full utilization of all the available resources in each school. He stressed the urge to get connected with the different free online teaching and learning resources.

A video presentation inculcating the importance of data governance among the schools reiterated the urgency for high quality data and transparency. The availability of the present data management system among schools led effective data governance in the field. As ICT and LIS coordinators, the responsibility to pass on to fellow educators for data quality, security and transparency is a must.

Dr. Epifania F. Carandang, SGOD Chief, former ICT Education Program Supervisor, shared the importance of technology operations, concepts and productivity among ICT teachers. “The challenge for continuing professional growth and development is not an issue of age and expertise but a matter of determination, focus and perseverance for the educators to become an expert,” Dr.Carandang underscores.

Alive with popping questions about the current LIS issues, Mr. Rolan B. Aldovino, Division Planning Officer, discussed LIS and EBEIS important issues, reminders and concerns.

Mr. Rey Valenzuela, Regional ITO I, tackled the Open Mix wherein the participants understood the command and remember the steps to practice right away for them to share with fellow educators as they go back to their schools.

Mr. Angelito R. Villalon, Assistant ICT Coordinator from Lucena City National High School, shared the Adobe Photoshop application which requires creative mind and playful clicks and swipe.

Ms. Cristina Rogelio, Division ITO, led the three day workshop with unending possibilities in the realm of e-teaching and learning process. “It’s time to click, search and skim all the positivity of successful teaching-learning process as we start the new school year. Buffering signals and other hardship might come along the way, but still we cannot escape from the reality of our fast-paced society in technology. Now is the time to stay put and link to all the positivity of learning process,” Ms. Rogelio stressed as she ended the program.
