SDO Lucena’s CIP Team orients on the Division Inventory Management System
Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) is an on-going effort to improve products, services or processes which are constantly evaluated and developed in the light of their efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility. The Schools Division of Lucena City took its active part on the implementation of CIP.
The Division CIP team on the current Division Inventory Management System (DIMS) oriented the participants composed of CID, SGOD and Administrative Personnel held on May 5, 1:30 PM at Lucena West 1 Hall, Lucena City.
This activity primarily aimed to provide information on the unified process and workflow to be utilized in the property and supplies office. It also familiarized the SDO personnel on the use of “Poke Yoke” and other techniques used in stocking of supplies; raised the level of consciousness on the efficient utilization of funds; develop a sense of ownership on the program among SDO personnel; and increased awareness on the sustainability of the program. The introduction and rationale of the project, the duties and responsibilities of customers and supply officers, the standard operating procedures of the DIMS, and the filling out of forms were discussed during the orientation proper.
